Welcome to my UCF E-Portfolio!

I am Ashley Wolf.  I studied violin and voice during my middle and high school years and am now at University of Central Florida in Orlando (UCF) where I am a music education major studying voice, keyboard, and teaching.  My high school and college curricula have been rigorous and satisfying.  I am learning a lot for my future.  I am very dedicated to my studies and my volunteerism which reflect my musicianship.

Contact me for more information.

I would love to sing at your event.  Please call or email now so we can together plan a wonderful musical happening for you and your family and friends.  Ask for Donna Cator.

I would also like to hear from music performers, teachers, coaches and therapists regarding your experiences and recommendations.

As a vocal student in Dr. Hunt's studio, I am juried periodically for my semester vocal repertoire selections

with emphasis on five key areas :

Technique such as breathing, intonation and quality of voice.

Phrasing and pronunciation including musicality, legato, dynamics and diction.

Professional Preparation of Music & Text where memorization, pitch and rhythmic accuracy count.

Physical presence including posture, stage manner and overall presence.

Presentation of the Music and Text with emphasis on interpretation, body language and facial expression.

Dr. Jeremy Hunt is my studio vocal coach.  I am honored to have been selected for his studio group and am currently  the only freshman.  Dr. Hunt received his doctorate at Indiana University, Jacobs School of Music.  Many of his students have successfully entered graduate programs and begun their careers in a vocal field.

My interest lays in becoming a chorus teacher and ultimately to add credentials for music therapy from a Master's program.

He is a registered yoga instructor who intermingles voice and yoga.  For example, UCF now offers a "Yoga for Performers" which I look forward to taking.

Interestingly, he also intermingles voice with Apple!  He is a developer for them and has five apps on singing and diction.
